Double Chocolate and Pecan Brownies

De riches brownies moelleux... du chocolat noir fondant... le croquant de pacanes... Un délice 100% végétal qui soutiendra votre corps et votre esprit par sa haute teneur en protéines!

  • 1/2 cup (70g) Nature Zen peas protein 
  • 1/2 cup (43g) cocoa powder 
  • 1/2 cup (75g) almond powder 
  • 1/2 cup (100g) cane sugar
  • 1 tsp (5ml) baking powder (chemical leaven)
  • 1/3 tsp (1,67ml) bicarbonate of soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) almond powder
  • 1 cup (245g) pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) canola oil 
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 
  • 1/3 cup (40g) chopped pecans 
  • 1/4 cup (42g) dark chocolate

Preparation steps 
  1. In a bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, oil, eggs and vanilla. Whisk until the mix is homogeneous. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl, combine Nature Zen peas protein, cocoa, almond powder, cane sugar, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda and salt. With a wooden spoon, incorporate the dry ingredients, not stirring too much. Add the milk and stir well.
  3. Add the chopped pecans and chocolate chips, then spread by stirring briefly.
  4. Pour the paste into an oiled square mould and cook in a preheated oven to 350F for 30 minutes.
  5. Let cool before serving.
